Paisanos Italian Bakery - Sarasota

First time finding this place as I passed through the area and now it sticks out as one of my best stops on this trip. Overwhelming when you enter as its hard to decide between all the amazing cookies, pastries and cakes, I settled on a carrot cake cupcake and it was probably the best cupcake I've ever had. I'm not in this area often but I will always come back here to try different things

I visited the bakery for the first time and the few things I bought were delicious. I have to ask though, why is nothing priced? One pastry I bought was almost $7.00. Had I known, I would have passed on that. Yes, I realize I could ask, but when you 're buying an assortment of items, it gets a little embarrassing (and probably annoying to the staff assisting you) to keep asking, how much is that ? Please take into consideration that some of us are on a budget, and there are others who I 'm sure would like to have an idea of what they 're paying for something. Thank you.

We've passed this place many times but something called to us today to make a u-turn and check it out. WOWZA!!! Beautiful bakery with the best Italian desserts we've had in Florida! Reminded me of something out of NYC or even Italy! And everything tastes as good as it looks! This is must if you are in the Sarasota area!!

Fantastic treats and super nice staff. Between cupcakes, pizza slices, lobster tails (dessert variety), Swiss rolls, etc there is literally something for everyone.

We visited sarasota on holiday and heard of this place with fantastic Italian desserts. we stopped and were blown away from the amazing selection! cookies, baked and cookies. so many delicious choices! they even had homemade dog sales. we ordered about half dozen different sorts, including their rainbow cookies (my favorites) and they were all ruthless. the personal was all kind, and if we don't live more than two hours away, I'd be here all the time in a heartbeat!
