Owen's Fish Camp - Sarasota

This place is amazing!! I highly recommend this awesome place to eat at while visiting Sarasota!! I love trying new restaurants and seafood is my favorite ?? if you get to Sarasota, you guys have to check this place out!! All their ingredients are fresh.The waitress?s are super cute and very helpful!!! They don?t take reservations but? they have this area/bar in the back withlive music and ?appetizers so just plan to stay and I promise the wait is worth it!! Pictured below is the lobster rolls (thebest) Boiled hot roadside peanuts Peel and eat shrimp Fresh Grouper blackened with brown butter hollandaise sauce, cheesy gritsand garlic green beans Shrimp and grits w/ spicy smoked sausage For Dessert but no pictures.. Bourbon pecan pie with freshwhipped cream!! ???

Absolutely ????/10. The food is well worth the price and to be fair I'd go as far as saying more than worth it. It's the cutest little place with great atmosphere. And if you get there earlier then opening that's best people start lining up. Met a localI'm line who reccomended the scamp and ofc had to try it. I have no regrets ????

I loved everything about this place. I was in town for work and stopped in on my last night with coworkers. There was a bit of a wait but it didn?t seem too long once we got to the beer garden area out back. The waiting area is a massive and beautiful.There was live music and a chill atmosphere. The staff was super accommodating. Red Snapper was one of their fresh catches andit?s rare to find a snapper fillet. They give you the option of having the fish prepared different ways. I went with blackedwith hollandaise. The hollandaise sauce is killer. If you get it, you?ll probably want an extra side of it. So good! If I?m everback in the area, I?ll make it a point to go back.

A Sarasota must. I?m so glad we came here on our first night of vacation ? this place was bumpin and did not disappoint! Don?t be discouraged by the long wait: there is such a cute outdoor patio with fresh grilled seafood and a bar menu to order from totide you over while you enjoy the weather and listen to live music! The food (on all 3 of the menus they offer) was outstandingand fresh. The servers were all super helpful with ordering and friendly too! Enjoyed my time here start to finish and wouldrecommend to anyone.

Owens Fish Camp is a blast. Tons of great food (whether you?re ordering from the staff at a table indoors or out back waiting for the grill to call your name out), love music, and an awesome ambiance. They get super busy and don?t take reservations butthe wait is worth it.
