Mōtōneko Café Izakaya - Sarasota

I was pleasantly surprised by the ramen at this place. Given the price, I can confidently say it's the best ramen in town! However, I would skip the protein options next time, as the meat was quite sour and not to my taste. Definitely make sure to add an extra soft-boiled egg; they are delicious! The drip coffee was good as well—not watery at all—but keep in mind that they don’t offer free refills. I also enjoyed the anime playing on their large screen TV and the motoneko manga wall art. If I lived nearby, I would love to hang out at this café with my friends regularly.

The ambiance and decor of the restaurant evoke a true Japanese cafe experience. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and the food is delightful. The ramen, featuring an egg and pork belly, is absolutely delectable. They also sell some really cool shirts!

The food was tasty, but I'm fairly certain it's just instant ramen. It seems like there's no real kitchen here.

The venue is lovely! Every Thursday, they host Smash Tournaments, which makes it quite lively. The service is excellent! While it is a bit slower compared to some other places because there's only one person managing everything, the atmosphere is so enjoyable that I didn’t mind the wait, which isn't too long. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of anime! The decor is fantastic, and they have anime playing on the TV. The food is delicious, especially the Fat Boy Ramen, and the coffee is outstanding!
