Bijou Garden Cafe - Sarasota

The Hostess Ella was really nice, our server Diego was great and the entire staff was super friendly! The food was excellent!!!!

Bijou has always been one of our favorite downtown restaurants, and still is, even after the recent change of ownership and remodeling. We love the new elegant decor and the menu and food quality have always been exceptional we just wish the dinner menu was more comprehensive with a larger selection of entrees. The only distraction we had last night was one of your wait staff having a fairly loud and protected conversation with the table for four next to us, which probably lasted at least ten or even fifteen minutes! Not only was it distracting and annoying but we're still wondering how he could spend that much time ignoring his other customers while he was yucking it up with these patrons you can do better!! Nevertheless, we'll be back!

Bijou Cafe is an institution in Sarasota. Many of the staff have been with the restaurant for years. The location is within walking distance of the theater district. Bijou offers an exceptional menu, excellent bar service and a team always ready to provide your needs.

Service and food were excellent as always. One of the entrees was incorrect. Salmon brought out instead of the chicken that was ordered. The server and kitchen were quick to rectify the issue.

Great table in a quiet area , ambiance enhanced by early dining Summer menu's Korean chicken was delicious
