Codex - Santiago de Compostela

It is possible that there is really good cuisine, but we did not get to taste it. The restaurant was half empty, but the waiter said there were no seats. Behind us came a couple who spoke Spanish, there was a place for them : P.S. we speak English.

Just wanted to have paella. Waiter said, that only with reservations. Turned around and just minute after spanish couple entered without reservation I heard conversation) and they got table. Not good spanish speakers are not wellcomed.

This is a great restaurant for a larger group. Really large variety of seafood and incredibly large portions. The waitstaff made it feel more like we were guests in someone’s house, so friendly, helpful and gave us really good recommendations on what to order.
