Il Tamarindo - SANT'ANTIOCO

A true hidden gem in Sant Antioco. Beautiful decor, wonderfully courteous staff. We had a crudite of scampi that were out of this world followed by fregula which was amazing. A fine dining experience in a cosy and romantic atmosphere offering the sardinian classic dishes with desserts to die for. Bruno and Rossella are the perfect hosts. An absolute must whilst in Sant Antioco!

If I could I would eat at this restaurant every day! The fish is very fresh, delicious, excellent service and chef Bruno is really a fantastic person... fully recommended!!!

Our b&b recommended us this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The service was very attentive and always with a smile. We loved the red tuna and potato salad and the seafood fregola was amazing, also special mention to the tiramisu and the mango cheesecake which ended the dinner with a sweet touch. The place is slightly off the main street, we higly recommend it and we will come back

Came to Sardina on holiday with my partner. Ristorante Il Tamarindo was the best place we ate all week! Amazing service and the food was heavenly! We ordered octopus starter with burrata and gazpacho and the prawns in a pistachio crust with cream of parmesan and raspberry, spaghetti with prawns and the red tuna steak, liquorice creme brulee for dessert. I can’t recommend it enough, beautifully balanced flavors. We are still dreaming of it. They also had a great selection of wines! We just hope we get the chance to return one day!
