Tonka's Grill - Santa Rosalia

Beautiful environment and amazing eating. would be highly recommended. beautiful quiet courtyard and wonderful staff.

Great service and excellent eating! very friendly staff..we were on the go with our dog and they welcomed us to sit on the terrace. they even brought her a teller meat! we will definitely eat here again when in santa rosalia!

We have been there 3 times. eating is quite good, the service is excellent and they have received the super bowl for us and put it on. we ordered the nachos; they sounded great with the usual toppings but the cheese they used is the type of liquid syrupy fake spoo that I would normally never eat like “cheese” in a football stadium. very poor. we were so hungry that we ate it, but I would normally never do it. Not even more genuine, just a chemical concoction. Maybe they don't have one of them.

This is our third time to Santa Rosalia on our boat from California and we very much like the town. Other than some very good taco shops we 've yet to find a great place to eat lots of ok places but nothing that made...us go WOW! Enter Tonka 's Grill. This really cool place is away from the central part of the town. The owners have a lot of TLC into the restaurant with large organic vegetable planters along the wall, umbrellas, a full bar and an open air working kitchen. My wife checked it out earlier in the day and was met by Eduardo (one of the owners who showed her around and reviewed the very nice menu. Tonight when we arrived the place was about 3/4 full, there was nice music playing and we were greeted by a smiling Armando (the other owner . Our waitress was wonderful even with our broken Spanish (not sure I 'd even give our speak that high of a rating... she made sure we knew what was what, she was prompt and exceptionally attentive. For being a new place Eduardo and Armando have it together clearly they have experience and they 've trained the staff to meet their high expectations. If you find your way to Santa Rosalia go to Tanka 's Grill!

Si tu respuesta es sí!!!Te recomiendo este lugar, claro que el estilo Santa Rosalía es porque es preparada en este pueblito pintoresco pero la carne si es de Sonora pero también tiene otras opciones para comer-cenar pero de verdad esta riquísimo. El ambiente es muy familiar pero también puedes disfrutar con tus amigos cualquier evento especial y con reservación si prefieres.La atención es muy buena!!
