Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed a nice lunch at this clean and unpretentious bar restaurant near the Avenida Salamanca basketball courts and just three blocks from the beach. We enjoyed a starter of warm bread with tomato and garlic mayonnaise, a refreshing salad and a mouthwatering mixture of baby octopus and calameres. We then shared Arroz a Banda, a lovely fish paella. The 15 euros per head included dessert or coffee so we both went for a coffee. A bit odd that as most menu del dias we have had in the past give you both. All round though very nice and the energetic owner deserves to do well.
We wanted a local restaurant near to our apartment and chose here. The waiter welcomed us warmly and his English was good enough that we ordered a lovely meal which was delivered to our table quite quickly. While waiting for our shared starter of grilled vegetables he brought us a small plate of ham and pretzels to nibble on. Our grilled veg was tasty drizzled over with lovely olive oil. My husband went with the seafood paella which he really enjoyed and I had grilled chicken breast, home made chips and a fried egg! Delish! Just what I fancied. We finished off with the rice pudding drizzled with caramel sauce which was absolutely divine. A bottle of house red, coffee and a complimentary shot rounded off the meal nicely. To be honest we thought the waiter got the bill wrong it was so reasonable when it arrived but it was all in order. Just lovely food at great prices. You should check this one out.
