Bidra med feedbackFun little coffee shop with some 'made at home ' breakfast bites.Swung by here to grab some coffee on the way to do some errands. Found this place on yelp, and it looked really popular. Got a nice little latte, and breakfast sandwich combo. The coffee was great. The sando was tasty, didn 't blow me away. A lot of arugula that overpowered the egg a little bit. I ended up removing. Biggest complaint was that my pregnant wife came along and was excited to try out some of the faire, but they didn 't have decaf. That would be my only real knock on the place. would definitely try again some other more interesting breakfast options.
I got the Mediterranean wrap which consisted of a piece of egg, old/generic guacamole, greens, then GRILLED? Why would you grill something with fresh greens inside? I don 't understand. The flavor was mediocre, but could be made easily at home for a fraction of the price. Definitely not worth the $17. And please remember to add utensils if an order is for takeout especially at this outrageous price. My matcha latte was also horribly prepared. The barista apparently just threw some matcha powder into some milk and whisked/stirred for just a second or two. Every sip of my drink consisted of huge clumps of matcha powder. At least I learned something new today: don 't trust 5 star reviews for a 100 review establishment and don 't leave tip until after receiving my order
This is one of the very rare places (if not the only place) where you can have the famous Turkish kebap called Iskender Kebap which is made with a mix of beef and lamb and served on a bed of special pita bread and yogurt on the side. The service plates are traditional wide oval ones and the portions are satisfactorily large. I loved it. The owners and the staff are very friendly and the service is fast and great. I also tecommend the Ispanakli Borek, which is spinach filled filo pastry. This is also a traditional Turkish dish and was very tasty and freshly made. I recommend this savory dish with Turkish tea on the side, which will make a fantastic breakfast by itself! I highly recommend this cozy place to try at least Iskender Kebap and Ispanakli Borek. I bet you will go back for more after your first experience. Enjoy!
Had the best pumpkin spiced decaf iced americano I've ever had in my life here. It was immaculate
The doner and iskender dishes were absolute must-tries. The flavors were delightful, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine.”
