Yanagi Sushi Grill - Santa Maria

Our favorite spot for his birthday dinner was his pick tonight. Overall, everything was great, although the steak was a bit overcooked for my liking. The fried rice and vegetables were excellent, and the soup was also delicious. We were a party of 9 and found the prices to be on the higher side, but it's a good option for special occasions. The food was tasty, but the prices were too steep. We returned for our birthday celebration. We enjoyed watching Memen, the cook, but the bill was quite expensive.

This is the best Japanese food I have ever had. The prices at Merl's may be on the higher side, but the quality and taste are exceptional. I would prefer to pay more for a fantastic meal rather than settle for an average one at a lower price.

I placed my order online and it was ready at the estimated time. The food was incredibly delicious. I only wish I could afford to eat there more often.

We sat at the Hibachi table and the cook gave a great performance that prepared the food. The two teenage grandchildren really enjoyed it.

Lovely vibe, great for party and big group, highly recommend the hibachi grill. The services were very nice, last but not least. The quality of sushi is top notched.
