Flame Broiler - Santa Fe Springs

Overall, the service and food were mostly excellent, but last night I had an issue. They served reheated chicken that was tough and dry. I suspect this was due to the fact that there were many customers waiting for their orders, and the cook was frequently away from the grill station. Unfortunately, I’ve had stomach issues ever since I ate it.

This is the Covid-19 era, so social distancing is still a thing here. But the employees are friendly and helpful. Restaurant is very clean and they hand you any condiments and silverware that you would like. Outdoor seating is available. Wait time is always under 10 minutes for me. Closer to 5 minutes usually.

In the City of La Palma at Centerpointe Drive location: I got sick after eating lunch there today. My regular bowl of white meat, tasted more like old dark meat. An upset stomach, and a headache with dizziness is what I suffered shortly after eating this. And I don't get sick! I am so disappointed. They have nerve to ask for a tip just because someone is taking your order and then do not show the total on your receipt. No tip less veggies. I would dispose of the leftovers in the pictures but decided to freeze instead in case I start feeling worse. It is now after 8 pm. Ridiculous!

Surprised at such low cost! Medium bowl and a drink for just under $10. Clean and fast. Great chicken and beef. Has awesome sauce bar with original taste, hot sauce not too spicy. Will definitely be returning!

I feel like I ran away and cheated. The large bowl I got was not properly filled, there were huge gaps around the bowl. The mini was good under the rim. $20 for a mini and regular bowl, no drinks or anything else. The meat was gland and the rice was overcooked. I'm not even sure why they cut the onions (see pictures): They were cut so odd that it could be done by an amateur. I guess there was a good reason why I never go to this place.
