Pecos Trail Cafe - Santa Fe

We dined here twice during a long weekend getaway, and both experiences were excellent. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, particularly Jorge, who made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The chile rellenos and shrimp enchiladas were exceptional. We also loved the mariachi band on Friday night! We will definitely return the next time we're in town. Highly recommend this place, and don’t miss out on the flan!

After seeing all the great reviews on NextDoor, my wife and I decided to try this place out. The menu was fantastic, and the co-owner, Jorge, was exceptionally friendly and clearly passionate about their offerings. He truly had a reason to be proud, as the seafood enchilada I had was outstanding. We'll definitely be returning!

My dining experience was fairly average. The portion sizes were decent, and the taste of the food was passable. The staff was friendly, which was a nice touch. However, the selection of alcoholic beverages was rather limited, as they only offered beer and wine. If you plan to pay with a credit card, be prepared for an extra charge of $2 to $3 added to your bill. Additionally, keep in mind that chips and salsa are not complimentary; you will have to pay for those.

This café is a real treasure! The warm hospitality and outstanding food make for a fantastic experience. The Carajillo Coffee was unexpectedly delightful! The patio is the perfect place to enjoy the stunning southwestern sunsets. Pecos Trail Café is one of those remarkable spots, and I’m eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

I just arrived in Santa Fe and chose to try this restaurant due to its reviews and location. I ordered a simple dish of chicken enchiladas with salsa verde, which turned out to be fantastic. The grilled chicken was both flavorful and tender, and the homemade sauce had a nice mild spiciness. The pinto beans were delightful and whole, unlike the pureed versions served at some places. The rice was perfectly cooked and very fresh. Even the lettuce and tomato were impressively fresh. The restaurant was clean, and it seemed like the owner and his wife were the ones serving me; they were incredibly friendly.
