Amaya - Santa Fe

The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. We particularly enjoyed the lamb dish, which was full of flavor. The beef tenderloin was also fantastic, although the mashed potatoes were just average. The duck was delightful, and while the salmon was tasty, our hungry teenager managed to devour it in just five minutes. One downside was that the server at a nearby table kept bumping into the back of my seat several times without acknowledging it.

The wine selection was impressive and easy to navigate, while the beer offerings catered to a variety of tastes. Our dinner was outstanding—everything was cooked to perfection. The medium-rare beef was beautifully colored and at the perfect temperature, and the duck, also cooked to medium-rare, surprised us with its excellence. For dessert, the crème brûlée was very good, but the chocolate lava cake was just decent, as it lacked the molten center we expected. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return!

Hotel is clean and huge! Stayed for a night 2 weeks ago, the spa was closed because of COVID. Had dinner at their restaurant and oh, the food tasted superb! It took a long time but the wait was worth it.
