Lemon Tree Inn - Santa Barbara

I stayed here last week with a friend, and we ended up with two separate rooms. Unfortunately, after about 10-20 minutes of her lying in bed, she discovered she had been bitten by bed bugs, which was quite alarming.

The hotel restaurant deserves a special mention; it offers a delightful dining experience and has a charming vintage vibe reminiscent of the '90s. The food is delicious, and guests benefit from a 10% discount, which is a nice added bonus. On the downside, contacting the staff can be somewhat difficult during busy times, but they are doing their best to manage. If you're looking for a place where you can genuinely have a great time, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The front desk staff was fantastic—friendly and professional. They made a real effort to accommodate my specific room location requests, which I truly appreciated. From the front desk staff to the waiters, gardeners, housekeeping, and maintenance, the service and warmth were exceptional. I’ve been staying at Lemon Tree when I visit Santa Barbara from Northern California for over 25 years, and it feels like coming home. There are great restaurants nearby, and a new Starbucks just a block and a half up on State Street that is wonderful. You can't go wrong with Daily Grind and their delicious scones. I can't wait for my next trip to Santa Barbara and Lemon Tree!
