Bidra med feedbackIt was my first time in this place and the interior is quite large and they also have barbecue. As the restaurant is located in a plaza, parking is available. My friend and I order both to soup, he soon got the oyster tofu soup with mild wicy and I got the repulsive soon tofu with white (not wicy). I like them both and they were very tasty.
One of the most famous Korean bbq places. Not as good as 10 butchers. I'm not a big fan of Korean bbq. But my friends are. We all think the food is decent. But not worth the money. The waitress is not nice if you don't speak Korean.
There were two different types of dining room- regular or Korean BBQ, and we chose the regular food. They served eight types of appetizers, and you could ask for refills for free. The soup of the tofu pot was really tasteful, and the short rib was quite delicate. They also kindly reminded customers not to leave the value in the car. Overall, it was a pretty good culinary experience. We're probably coming back!
We ordered their seafood pancakes, galbi jjim, fish raw soon tofu for normal dishes and we also did BBQ with the jumuluk and pig bell. The portions are quite large, so we had too much food, but I just wanted to try so many of their options. I really liked the seafood pancakes and Galbi-Jjim. The Galbi-Jjim was super delicate and fell from the bone. My sister likes her fish roe tofu as she is a great tofu soup type of person. The BBQ was not bad, though quite expensive. I think I liked the pig belly more, but in general I could order the dishes for the next time. Note that they cook the meat for you (and for the pig bell they dip it into the sauce for you first), so I would wait for them to do it instead of burning your expensive meat. Also the secondary dishes especially loved the apple and glass noodles. There are also a number of signs that car breaks are common in the area, so leave nothing valuable or electronics in your car. It must be a recurring problem as they have huge signs and so many of them at the entrance of the restaurant, they even ask you to sit. I saw broken window glass on the floor of the parking lot, so I would be sure and not valuables in there.
The food here is excellent. Whenever I end up in the area for work, I make it my mission to eat here at least once. It's a bit pricey compared to your average korean restaurant but to me is worth it. Service wasn't all that friendly but perhaps it's because I'm just used to Texas friendliness now that I've lived there a few years. On a side note I was amused by these super wordy signs posted all over the entrance area warning people not to leave their electronic devices in the car due to theft.
