Amici Brentwood Trattoria - Santa Ana

We were seated indoors. Right next to us was a table with a dog. The dog kept coming up to us to beg for food. It tested its paws on my lap. Now don’t get me wrong no love dogs. But it kept jumping up on me the whole dinner. We tried to discourage the dog but to no avail. The dogs owner kept feeding it at the table. Service was spotty.

It began to rain and going inside wasn’t an option. It was a bit of a challenge to arrange the umbrellas and keep the heat lamps on. Overall, totally worth it to save the experience. The food was delicious.

Had such a great time in amici! my bolognese pasta was delicious and all the others also enjoyed their meal. paolo, the owner or manager (I am not sure) was also a pleasure. will come back in any case!

Great food. Lovely small neighborhood feeling (adjacent Brentwood Country Mart). Easy parking.

We waited almost two hours for one of or entrees despite repeated questions to two different staff members. No apologies no nothing just arrogance And to top it all off, we were charged twice for one scoop of mint gelato. Wow
