Bidra med feedbackMany places were closed (apparently for Assumption Day) when we went looking for somewhere to eat so we must had to go for the first place we could find. We had walked by Al Andalus a few times late in the evening and noticed it was usually very busy so we were happy to see it was open. It's not at all a fancy restaurant, being more of a greasy spoon café type place, but we were greeted by a very nice waiter and all of the staff seemed really friendly. There is a good selection of tapas and also main meals and they do lots of little deals like a glass of beer and a tapas for €2 (when we were there). We were starving so we ordered three of the main meals and a couple of tapas (between the four of us 2 adults and 2 kids). As it turns out it was more than enough. The burger we ordered was huge with lovely crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes and a side of chips, the mixed seafood platter had tons of shrimp, deep fried mussels (we think), whitebait and fish parcels, and the eggs and chorizo was a big plate of fried eggs, chorizo and chips. All the food was very basic but very tasty, the beer was ice cold and the service was good. If we hadn't been with our starving kids we would probably have really enjoyed spending a couple of hours there just drinking chilled beer and eating tapas. Not recommended for fine dining, but very good value for money.
