Bidra med feedbackMark I usually come here once or twice a week. Julie, Sue and the staff are very obliging helpful and quick to correct any mistakes this is done with a smile. We do sympathise that customers cannot use cash, but overall we are very happy with the service.
I used to frequent Tesco's cafe once a week after shopping and have always found it to be excellent, until today. Tesco's has recently made a decision to discriminate against older customers by installing self-service machines that only accept card payments for food and drinks. It is clear that Tesco must be aware that many older customers do not use cards, making it impossible for them to use the cafe now. Today, I witnessed two older customers who looked very disappointed and saddened when they realized they were no longer welcome at Tesco's. I was with my aunt, who would not have been able to dine there alone. This decision by Tesco is appalling and shows a complete disregard for older customers. The new system only benefits Tesco, in some way, and no one else. Another issue that I find hard to believe Tesco did not consider before installing the machines is that it puts single customers at a disadvantage. For example, if a single customer sees a free table and starts ordering his meal, a couple could arrive and one of them could take the table. The man then finishes his order, pays, and goes inside only to find that there is nowhere for him to sit. Was it really impossible for Tesco to foresee this obvious issue, or did they simply not care? Lastly, though less important, customers in a cafe like to have a pleasant experience, especially older customers who enjoy interacting with the staff (who are all efficient, hardworking, helpful, and friendly, by the way). Tesco has now turned the experience into a sterile, automated one with no benefit to them, while also making older customers feel unwelcome. Tesco should be ashamed of this decision, which is driven by corporate greed and shows a complete disregard for customers, as usual.
I was discriminated against at this restaurant. They refused to give me sugar for my cold drink, the drink wasn't made properly, and the staff was rude and racist towards my disability and ethnicity.
Very nice polite with good food and service. Will be visiting again with no dought. Lovely place nice to spend time. Really time passing
Mortison’s Cafe Wednesbury should take a look at this cafe to see how this kind of place should be run. The place is always clean (no trays or plates left on the tables) the staff are friendly (to be fair, so are Morrison’s) the food is very good and, unlike Morrison’s, you don’t wait ages to before you get it. A couple of nitpicks …… you can’t get a cold sandwich here (surely Tesco’s are missing a trick here) and there are some tables with more comfortable cushioned chairs but some with hard chairs. Surely Tesco’s could stretch to cushioned chairs for all tables?
