British Queen Kitchen - Sandwell

Before, the curry at this restaurant was outstanding. Unfortunately, the chef and his team have left and now it just isn't the same. Does anyone know what happened?

I have visited this restaurant several times and the food is always superb. I particularly enjoyed the prawn and lamb dishes. I highly recommend this place.

I have visited this restaurant several times with my local friends, and it has been fantastic every time! Despite not having a fancy appearance, the restaurant is always packed with locals and serves delicious food. We always order the mixed grill with the famous lamb chops, assorted curries, and naans. I have never been disappointed with any of the dishes, but we always end up with leftovers after indulging in the delicious food. Fortunately, the restaurant allows us to take a doggy bag home, and I highly recommend doing so as the leftovers taste just as good the next morning when reheated!

I went with around 8 other friends for a catchup and it was lovely. The food was delicious! I had the saag aloo, shared some masala fries and so peshwari naan never tried it before but it literally tasted like a pancake! Really nice...place, nice food and really good prices Would go again

Following a recommendation from a friend my wife and I visited early evening yesterday on the way home from work. First things first, this isn’t a restaurant or gastropub it’s a fairly tatty boozer that does Indian food and it does it very...well!! Reasonably priced drinks (sadly no real ale or craft beer available, just bog standard fizz). Food is ordered from the kitchen window at the rear of the pub. Cards are accepted. Child friendly too. I’ve attached photos of the menu. We ordered a large mixed grill, masala chips and chilli naan between us and we couldn’t finish it! The quality of the food is excellent, just as good if not better than the more well known Desi pubs in the area, such as The Vine. But better than that the prices are more reasonable! Would I go again? Definitely.
