South Shores Meat Shop - San Pedro

I’ve stopped buying meat at supermarkets because the meat and fish here is so good and such good value. A cut of meat that I often get is a picanha, which can be hard to find, but is amazing on the grill. Their swordfish is also excellent (they buy the whole fish and cut it on site). For the holidays, they order rib roasts from Harris Ranch, and do other specialty items such as house seasoned ham. Their pork ribs come with the membrane already removed, making them much more tender. It’s a real treat to have this shop in the neighborhood.

They make a pretty serious deli sandwich. Eight bucks for a good sized ham and cheese. It's not lunch meat, they slice the ham right there.

I know that I will always eat good when I come here. One of the few places where I can ask for a 2in thick steak. Also love your shrimp and lamb kabobs…. Too many great fish and meat to list!!!

Appalling service by owner! As a frequent customer of this establishment, I recommend this place to my mother who is a lifetime resident of San Pedro and knows everybody in this small town where I myself grew up. She questioned the color of the beef the owner brought from the back and he was absolutely rude to her and kicked her out, specifically telling her get out of my store and never come back. Well she won 't be back, as I won 't be back and many of her friends will not be back either. Hope you all get better service, though the employees are great!

The Sandwhich's are so good and fresh. I honestly feel like the basic ham and cheese is everything and the. Some for basic. I think they use ham they have cooked vs square cut processed. Makes the world of a difference. My kids always eat the turkey avocado and swear by it.
