Bidra med feedbackI had a pleasant family evening, at Il Casale, where we had dinner under a very special and well studied loggia, overlooking the hills of Sandinia. Good dishes, friendly service, the environment is type of Tuscan country cottages.
We stayed the weekend in absolute relaxation in this beautiful place managed with kindness, the owner is also a great producer of superb wine. Simple apartments in classic Tuscan style clean and comfortable bed. Clean pool with a wonderful view. Convenient location for visiting Vinci, San Gimignano, San Galgano etc. We will definitely return because it was awarded by our family as a destination to relax and enjoy the Tuscan...
I discovered this farm since its opening in 2007. Family run Lamberto with his wife and son make you feel at home. The farm consists of a few apartments of different sizes in order to accommodate both families and couples and friends. The few apartments allow you to live it in peace without too much casino. Each apartment has its own table with umbrella outside where you can have breakfast or eat. The apartments are beautiful, spacious in classic Tuscan style....pietra....legno......... There is all the necessary from the dryers, hairdryer, tiles, dishes, glasses.... On the site you can see each apartment to choose . the pool is fabulous and around olive trees and vineyards owned by Lamberto from which I always buy oil and wine....... There is a restaurant run by outdoors only open in the evening where you eat well.... typical Tuscan dishes............. Every year I go... From here you can go both to visit city of art being comfortable for different destinations....Florence Pisa San Gimignano,Volterra, Vinci, Siena but also to go to the sea. In 50 minutes you are in Tirrenia and in an hour and 10 minutes the beautiful San Vincenzo....... To understand you have to try it at least once....it is not the classic commercial citrus tourism but a real farmhouse immersed in the hills........ 5 stars deserved.......
Farmhouse and restaurant located on the hill overlooking the city of San Miniato. Well renovated and very welcoming rustic premises. The food served, typical Tuscan, was of excellent quality and well cooked, local wines adapted to food were served. The very precise and friendly service I mean.... an excellent experience to repeat!
As for every last of the year me and my friends all couples and couples with children we look for an agriturismo where you can spend both at dinner and at sleep on the night of 31, so you can then take advantage of the first day of the year to make a trip all together in the chosen resort! This year we were here, fortunately not too far from home since there was someone working the afternoon of 31! Arrived we were very happy with the nice place and the apartments that at first impact seemed very clean and cute! After a few hours, however, we had to think about it.... in the apartments we occupied 6 it began to spread smell of rotten egg from the bathrooms....The water was brown, and in the shower there were anthills! We're not, like, sophisticated. Without too many stories, we went to eat, making him present, but no one could do anything. Dinner was a real disaster... we couldn't eat anything, food not only of poor quality but also cooked and cooked badly! We only drank water as the wine was vinegar... we asked for the wine card but we felt to respond that they were not provided! Entertainment was not only not fun but annoying! We asked the waiter what time was the breakfast, which from agreements was there, and he told us around 10. The morning when we woke up the house was empty, no owner present, we wanted not to have breakfast since the children were hungry at least to pay to leave and instead we had to wait with us other customers! We heard you say on their arrival that we are very early with children who is not at 10?! and that we understood badly because breakfast was not included....that even so I believe that if you give the possibility to stay in a place quite isolated, at least a coffee with cookies should be made available! To conclude...Peccato!! Too bad because the place really deserves. Outside the spaces are very beautiful and spacious, there are grills and tables for L estate and a swimming pool, great potential but Ok to family management...but for such a great place you can not be so few and do not cure customers in that way. We're not coming back!
