Winner Winner Chicken - San Mateo

Food is always excellent. However, last order was missing the dipping sauce and showed up a half an hour late. That warrants a 4.5, but that is not an option, hence 4.0.

Pretty fast service and the food tasted great. I went for the leg and thigh with a side. Fries were a ton! I think it was probably enough for two people and that’s from a person who loves fries!It’s in a mall but worth a check if you are in the area.Loved how clean everything was

Winner winner chicken is juicy and flavorful. I have had the chicken tenders and the chicken sandwich with mild spiciness. The chicken is not dry or oily with the right amount of seasoning. The only other place the chicken can compare closest with is Raising cane in Socal. Winner winner's sauces are also uniquely flavored and not the typical ranch for example. The staff is always very customer oriented and friendly. They answer any questions customers may have whether it is the level of spiciness or the sides and sauces. The one star I am subtracting is because we had tater tots and fries that were not hot but cold as if it was not fried when ordered. Otherwise, I love this place and their food, and I hope they will have more stores opening as we finally have a great chicken place opening that we need more !

Asked for classic fried chicken instead got an intro medium chicken sandwich. Dry spices did not do justice to this very tough lukewarm chicken breast coated in heavy flour. Unappetizing unseasoned carrot slaw. Pickles smothered in their comeback sauce on lightly toasted brioche. Not for the faint of hearts, this mildly spiced fried chicken was numbing on the tongue. Take a pass as this was not a winner. Love their fresh crispy light tater tots as it was the winner of the two.

Service is always nice and friendly. Food is great and consistent. The fish fillet sandwich is delish.
