Bidra med feedbackNot sure what happened to Noah's Bagels the menu is a lot smaller than what I remembered and the portions are ridiculously small. The service was nice and quick but the food is just embarrassing. I ordered the farmhouse that had the thinnest slices of bacon, thinnest ham, and smallest egg I have ever seen. It's quite comical when you think about it! Probably start making my own bagel sandwiches at this point.
This past Sunday was my first trip to this Noah's NY Bagels location. I normally visit the one in Fremont but happen to be in the area and craving a good bagel. I arrived at approximately 10am. The restaurant was very, very busy. Even with a fair amount of staff, the line reached the door. That being said, the staff is pretty good at moving the line so I didn't wait very long. The reason I'm giving it a 3-Star is due to a few factors:1. They were out of stock of many items. It seemed like everyone (including myself) had to choose an alternate item. It was still early in the day so I didn't understand why they were out of things already.2. The seating is not adequate for the level of customers. There's 3 tables outside and some counters inside, but they were all occupied and the turnover was too slow for the amount of patrons. A few more tables and chairs outside would make a big difference.3. The costs have really skyrocketed. I know due to inflation everything has gotten more expensive, but $30 for 2 bagels and 2 coffees seemed expensive. This is exuberated with the fact that the bagels are not all that big. The bagels themselves were good. They were fresh and tasty. The coffee was hot. Overall made for a quick snack.
Very disappointed this morning with my order of 2 Farmhouse breakfast sandwiches and 1 Nova Lox sandwich. I have been going to this Noah's for years now and this is the first time I was unable to finish eating this mess. The eggs were paper thin, discolored (mottled grayish) and rubbery (as in overcooked). The ham is grocery store luncheon meat and the bacon was almost non-existent (definitely not the thick hickory smoked pieces from before). The bagels were mashed together and mushy inside so you couldn't tell if the bagel was even toasted. I suspect these sandwiches were pre-made and put in refrigeration because none of them were even warm or toasty. The quality and size has gone down with the bagels, the price has gone up and what used to be great bagels are no better than store bought nowadays.
I was reluctant to visit this location. Then became tired one day of bagged bagels that taste nothing like fresh, authentic bagels. So I took a chance recently and was pleasantly surprised. Little did they know I was watching and quickly looked around. Then placed my order and was treated with kindness and efficiency. I returned home and toasted the best bagel I'd eaten in years, topped with organic almond butter. I returned this morning. Again, service was excellent. This time, however, I was badly distracted, with too many problems weighing too heavily. I'm normally cautious about security, but discovered when I returned home that my mini wallet was missing. Was furious with myself and started crying, searching my waste pack, pockets, and car. Instantly, I worried sick about my driver's license, credit cards, and other things. I knew I'd have to take immediate action, cancelling cards and other nuisances. I'm not wealthy, but a lost wallet is a nightmare for anyone. The manager answered my frantic call. He said they had my wallet. I drove back to Noah's, counting my lucky stars and especially grateful for the good people involved in the safe return of my wallet. Everything was still there. Sadly, we can no longer assume that people will be honest and decent. We all know stories about misdeeds. Today I was reminded that goodness and grace are alive and well. To the unknown customer who spotted my wallet and brought it to the counter at Noah's:Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please try to reach me through Yelp, if you should happen to read this review. To the Noah's employees who treated me well and kept my wallet safe: You are true professionals. I can't think of qualities more important anywhere in any industry than kindness, compassion, and integrity. To the manager of this location: These are the qualities that enable a company to bloom and flourish. Customers remember for a long, long time. Many, many thanks.
Terrible service. I haven't been to Noah's in a very long time, I was trying to find some place to grab a quick since I had my dog wit me. I walk in, the cashier says hi, waited... when I was ready I wasn't sure if she was ready or what cause she was leaning on the broom look in a different direction. After I ordered I wanted to see if I can change the bagel favor, so I asked the other girl... she gave me a look and then said if he already started the toasted bagel then your stuck with the plain... Okayyy... didn't even turn around to ask if he started or nothing, which he didn't. It was probably one of the most unwelcoming establishment I've been too. Thanks for the 10 dollar bagel that wasn't even worth it.
