Grindstone Coffee - San Mateo

Love the Americanos they serve up here. Plus: nice people, casual atmosphere. This tiny cafe (three tables) is on a hotel property, so it's easy to miss unless you know it's there. Yes, they have wifi, baked goods, and light meals. I can't wait to try the waffles!

Sheen is so sweet. Literally one of the most inviting people I have spoken to in the bay area. Great coffee, food, and atmosphere!!

Nice little coffee shop on the El Camino. Cute space and Verve coffee. They didn't have soy, but at least they had almond milk.
