Ivar's River Pub - San Marcos

Was on the way from Austin and saw the sign and reminded me that I was a meeting here and it was close, it worked super because I could enjoy Tj with my beautiful wife. She had the mushroom burger and it was delicious I had on the other side the chicken fried steak and it is one of the best I had. I recommend sitting on the terrace overlooking the river, then once done take a walk and enjoy the beautiful views.

We love the vibe of Ivars. If you sit outside or inside, it is a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff is very friendly. Efrain gave great food suggestions and was quick with service. Good servings of great food!

Super cute place right on the water. Plenty of outdoor seating, covered and uncovered. Dog friendly.

Ivars employees are so sweet! Every single one of them treat me like family and it means the world to me! The are also the sweetest people ever!! The food is wonderful ! You need to experience the gorgeous view!

Always have a good time there. First time you go, get the Mac and Cheese. Lunch specials are reasonably priced.
