Inland Tavern - San Marcos

What a awesome venue. Great place to support because of the awesome food and environment but also because the support the community. We had a dine out for one of our San Marcos elementary schools here last night and it was amazing. The owner came around and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and had everything they wanted. The server was also really great. He was able to handle all the chaos of kids running around and still have a great and fun attitude. A new family favorite. Thank you Inland Tavern.

Thank you for the wonderful tableservice Fabian, and I appreciate the concern of Jose for my mother's comfort (he turned on the heater when he saw my mother was getting cold). Thank you, Chayo, for the delicious food! An excellent experience! The twist on your chicken and waffles was delightful and I was surprised by the generous portions. The appetizer nachos were definitely meant for a party to share! The Cuban and Heart of Crack sandwiches were giant! so make sure you're hungry!

First of all menus and benches were dirty and sticky. Flooring made the place look like a bar than a Tavern. Food was ok.

I really enjoyed the double patti with cheese deluxe style. It was out if this world ! I first compared it to a hundred year old burger joint (Schlenker's) from my home town and it was much better.

Pete was awesome! I brought my 90 year old mom to have some fish chips after a near death diagnosis. He went over and above to make our experience a memorable one. Pete is a keeper ?
