Wendy's - San Leandro

This restaurant provides a clean, well-lit, and highly organized environment with fast service and a pleasant ambiance, making for an overall five-star experience. I visited towards the end of the lunch rush and was able to get through the line in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered chicken tenders and a taco salad, both of which far exceeded my expectations. The tenders were moist, crispy, and flavorful, while the taco salad was fantastic after mixing all the ingredients together. The cleanliness was impressive, including the restrooms, which were very tidy and presentable. I really love this place, and I have to say, this location is as good as the best Wendy’s, if not better than most.

The restaurant was clearly understaffed, but the staff remained cheerful and friendly, and the food was properly cooked. I know they're not allowed to accept tips, so I folded a $5 bill and tossed it through the window with a cheerful "Oops, dropped it!" as I drove away. That being said, the policy that prevents fast-food workers from accepting tips is ridiculous. They work incredibly hard, so we should be able to reward those who go above and beyond! Also, when did Wendy's start hoarding mayonnaise like it's a precious resource? They should be more generous with it on those overpriced burgers, for crying out loud!
