Bidra med feedbackTHE best coffee in PR. Period. You can also buy their coffee beans or ground in bags to take home. Moderate-high prices (but their coffee is worth its weigh in gold), clean and well appointed establishment with great service. The servers are patient and kind. They also have cool items with their brand for souvenirs, such as tshirts. Definitely take their coffee bags to your friends and family back home! Also, try their delicious pastries. I love their Tarta de Guayaba (guava tart), their lemon pie and their baklava. I usually take out my orders, but they have some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating by the side. The atmosphere is nice to come with a friend or sit by yourself with a good book.
I enjoy coffee greatly so I tend to look for good local coffee beans. After reading a few articles that mentioned Hacienda San Pedro, I had to try their coffee. Coffee was good and nicely roasted but I found it to be extremely expensive at $20 a bag. I buy coffee bags on a regular basis in Florida, New York and other states even other countries and this is by far the most expensive bag of regular coffee beans I ever got. Not sure why they sale it so high. sadly this is the last time I get it. I read that there are several good local coffee haciendas in the island that I could try out.
Very nice place to have a great coffee. The place is small but cozy. The personnel is very kind and professional. They have other treats and lunch specials like sandwiches. Parking is in the street, but there are several parking lots (paid) nearby.
Response to owner: that's fair, I've adjusted to 3*. Everyone can have a bad day too, and the below is only my experience; overall the reviews are pretty good for this place. I only wished the staff would have let us know they were waiting for the croissant, we could have had the coffee first (that was our preference). The couple that ordered right before us had been gone for a while and many others were served in between. I liked the food, but the coffee was the worst we had in Puerto Rico in a week (to be fair, we had very good coffee and this one would still be average for us). The main reason of the low score is that we waited more than 20 minutes to get our coffees. Even as people who had ordered after us got their coffees, we decided to ask in case they forgot about us, but apparently they were waiting to toast our croissant before making our coffee, so it would come together... might be a good thought, but not if the croissant was going to take 20 minutes! We had also ordered a brownie that we ate by itself as we were waiting for really long.
The best coffee of Puerto Rico!!! Totally recommend it!!! People are nice, is like you're visiting a neighbor!!! Great service, great breakfast, great location!!!! They can make Ice coffee, latte's, hot coffees, flavor coffee, if you're looking for a great travel treat, then you must buy the coffee bag, they ether have ground coffee, or coffee beans.... Anyway you need to try it!! Thank you guys!!!!
