Bidra med feedbackEveryday is a new creation of art in my coffee cup created by Abimael Ruiz, Josue, Michael, Richardo, Omar, or one of the other barristers, Don Ruiz, 501 Calle Norzagaray, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico across the road from Castillo San Felipe del Morro. I hate to spoil the art by drinking it but the aroma is so inviting and it's so smooth going down without leaving you with that acid stomach feeling. It's like the finest brewed cafe in Italy that keeps you going back in for another cup. I especially love the relaxing environment of sitting inside the Cuartel de Ballaja makes it the best spot to sit outside and sip the brew even on a rainy day.
I’ve been visiting this place for years while working for various cruises which dock nearby and am always welcomed by the lovely staff- you guys make my Sunday a good one great food and coffee
First time to visit Puerto Rico and this wonderful cafe! I had an iced coffee latte and it was bold but smooth and delicious..the only problem was I drank it too fast and wished I had another!
I stopped by this cafe based on recommendations from a travel site that suggests coffee spots in the are you are visiting. Don Ruiz did not disappoint. I ordered a simple butter croissant paired with a single shot w/two scoops of milk. Both were exquisite. If you are in the area Don Ruiz is a must stop for coffee lovers.
Good cafe, delicious coffee and pastries, cozy atmospere. Some complain that the cafe is hard to find but it's not
