Yuujin is a hidden treasure in the Greenhills - San Juan area. You wouldn't notice it much as it's a house that was converted to a restaurant. I rate it a 5 for food quality, serving size and the reasonable prize. The food quality reminds you of the more expensive Japanese restaurants.

Lightly grilled and then salted, the flesh retained its sweetness and juiciness. Lows: 1. Ebi tempura: the batter was too thick, although less oily than most. The prawns were also smaller than average, although they did taste fresh. 2. Gyudon: huge serving but the beef was less tender. The sauce was also damp and underwhelming, adding little flavor to the dish. Not their strongest suit. 3. Tempura Ice Cream: Similar to its Ebi counterpart, the deep fried dessert failed to impress. The batter was also thick and the ice cream easily melted to a watery consistency. I've clearly had better. Yuujin has stood the test of time, remaining close to the hearts of loyal San Juan residents. However, their menu has remained somewhat stagnant, with nothing new and exciting to offer. That may be a plus for its loyalists, but to newbies looking for something better, it may be a downside. Nevertheless, their timeless bestsellers, their sushi and teppanyaki selections, are still your safest bets.
You will never go wrong with yuujin! our clips are bark meat and seafood teppanyaki. always
