The Big Kahuna Bar and Restaurant

Stayed in Kahuna resort and ate at their restaurant . The food , wine and the view was excellent . Thank you staff at Kahuna resort .

Was expecting more from the restaurant because of previous impression of friends...Yes it has a good ocean view.Yes it's design is interesting. It also has an open kitchen.Yes the staff were approachable.But the food was not superb, it was just OK, somehow overrated and a little pricey for the quality.It is also quite busy with much people traffic around. It also has insects all around during night time, hopefully they could improve on this.

We stayed at Kahuna for several days and had breakfast at their restaurant during the entire stay. You get a full view of the beach while eating which was great. It was windy enough so it doesn't matter that there was no aircon. Also, the taho vendor passes by in the morning and you can have taho with your breakfast. Hehe!The food was good, though we only ate there once aside from breakfast. It was a bit more pricey than other restaurants nearby but you pay for the good service and ambiance so it makes up for it too.

I can only talk about the view the mango shake, and the Mac Surf or Surfers Mac I forgot the name but just check it my pictures. Absolutely yummy. If go for that burger every time I go there. This was my first visit btw. The mango shake was good but they ran out of avocado which was my first choice. The view is great, really awesome place. I was with LaFarge Holcim on a famtrip of tourism sites and establishments when we came for lunch here.
