SEARED - San José del Cabo

The restaurant was empty! Beautiful decor (nice varanda seating were not offered as a seating choice for us) and very good service, but food was way too expensive compared to other options in Los Cabos - we understand that the restaurant has a famous chef, is located at a fancy hotel, but it was too pricy! Paris price in Los Cabos? Doesn't make sense!We ordered cheap options such as fish and pork and the food was very good! Tried the Mac and Cheese as your side (to share) and it was delicious!

Seated is the place to go if you want meat cooked perfect. I had the rib and it could not be any better. The prices are high but worth it, The service and attention to detail is wonderful.

We had an excellent dinner here on our last night at the resort. We had a Meal Package through O&O and we decided to splurge here. We tried an excellent Mexican "local" wine -- RicRac Cabernet Sauvignon. I was very impressed and appreciated the suggestion. It was well-priced and gave us something new to try that we don't get in the States.Service was excellent. Staff was very polite and genuine. Not fake nice. The steaks were well prepared and sides were delicious. I would recommend the mashed potatoes --they are divinely prepared. They literally melt in your mouth. I thought the desserts were very creative and not too heavy. The atmosphere wasn't too stuffy for a "steak place." I enjoyed the live music -- perfect volume! Still allows for conversations to take place.

We love going to Cabo and the Palmilla is one of our favorite places to stay. The restaurants on site rival any restaurants anywhere! Sear is not an exception. Great atmosphere and service let alone quality dining!
