Origen - San José del Cabo

El menú fusiona elementos tradicionales de la cocina mexicana de manera excepcional. La atención y vista son magníficas. Aunque el estilo es minimalista, cada detalle enriquece la experiencia con texturas y materiales especiales.

I have dined here for breakfast on 1/12/2019. I received excellent service and eating was amazing. look at this place and sit next to the water!

My wife and I just spent three nights in the mar adentro for our 20-year anniversary and had a nice visit. origen was however the weakest link in the restaurants in the mar adentro. like the rest of the resort it has a clean,...easy but beautiful view of the restaurant, with view over the nest and on the sea. we had an evening meal in origenous, on a Friday night. the guacamole appetizer was fabulous, but our escapes were just okay. the presentations were beautiful, the complexity of preparation dared in the wise, although the end product was either a little dry (for example my order of fooling with mol sauce) or a bit bland for what was expected. eating was certainly not bad, but simply not compelling. at later evenings there were dinners in the seared in palmilla, and then don sanchez in the inner city, which were both much more convincing. the alternative restaurant in the mar adentro, called nido, serves mainly breakfast and lunch and seemed consistently better. a bit more effort and consistency of the execution for origen would go a long way, as it is close to being a total wonderful experience.

My man and I were in this hotel and ate several times in this restaurant. it was usually always a buffet style, but one evening it was a menu style, and this evening it was very good to eat. the buffet was average.

We ate there 3 days of four that we stayed in the mar adentro. selene, our hostess, was better than family. she was friendly, friendly and served us wherever we wanted to eat. great ambiente. great food. great service.
