The City Fish - San Jose

Have you ever wanted an extremely delicious meal (in a new city) the 1st place you visit blows your socks OFF?! That’s a rare occurrence right?! Well THE CITY FISH, is an absolute hidden gem. I was staying at the Hilton I googled “seafood restaurants near me” of course I viewed the rating. I believe it was 4.8 stars with 646 reviews; pretty good right.?! The selection of seafood was AMAZING everything my guest and I ate was sooo succulent!! Danny the register has SUPERIOR SERVICE!!

Amazing little place tucked in a row of buildings that you wouldn't expect to have great seafood. However, that's exactly what they offer, great seafood that is. The lady running the counter was super sweet, very helpful, and thorough. The scallops were cooked perfectly along with the prawns and fish. There's definitely another visit in my future!

Wow what a great meal. We went in for fish and chips, and myself and my 8 year old got great fish and chips. My wife got fish tacos and loved them, filled to the brim with perfectly crispy fried fish and flavorful toppings. My 10 year old got the prawn Alfredo pasta and was delighted by the hearty dish and large serving size. On that note my fish filets were larger than expected, very generous portions, so good and everything was fresh as can be.

Ordered 2 pieces of fish and chips but got 3 pieces instead. Big cuts of the fish and good amount of chips.

Been going since they opened. Excellent food and service. Danny the owner is a great guy!
