I had a conversation with their sommeliers, inquiring if they considered $84 a reasonable price for that wine, but they couldn’t provide a definitive answer. Instead, they attempted to justify the cost, which honestly felt unconvincing. Their primary focus appeared to be on encouraging patrons to join their wine club. But what if you just want to enjoy a bottle without that kind of commitment? In the end, I chose to leave without causing a fuss, although I did mention my hope to return with friends. Having spent many years in Chicago, where Italian culture and cuisine are abundant, we believe this restaurant has the potential to offer the food, drinks, and atmosphere we miss. It's disheartening to see so many promising restaurants struggle, and I sincerely hope this isn't one of them. I would recommend they consider hiring a consultant to address these pricing concerns. Additionally, on my first visit, I paid over $40 for four cans of their signature beer, the God Father, which I also thought could be priced more reasonably. I highly recommend visiting this place. They also have a lovely patio suitable for larger groups. I'll surely be back!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for the first time, and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch with delicious food and attentive service. I opted for the terrace to soak in the lovely weather, and it did not disappoint: the atmosphere was delightful, allowing me to enjoy the fresh air in an open space without the sun directly in my eyes. I ordered the Splash Bianco 12 (a refreshing mix of Prosecco, Limoncello, club soda, a lemon wedge, and rosemary), along with a Peroni Nastro Azzurro (an Italian beer). I also tried the Crostini Sampler, which was perfect for tasting a variety of flavors, and the Melanzane Panini (filled with roasted eggplants, sweet red bell peppers, garlic, crimini mushrooms, thyme, and rosemary, all melted together beautifully). My advice: plan to spend some extra time at this place to fully enjoy the experience, and let the friendly staff spoil you with their service and recommendations.

This is a fantastic spot for Italian cuisine and an impressive wine selection. The service was excellent, even though it became quite busy for a Monday night. I would definitely return and recommend it to others. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual.

The food is excellent, the wine selection is impressive, and the staff is friendly. However, I was taken aback to find a 17% service charge added to the bill, especially since the service was not up to par.
