Lee's Sandwiches - San Jose

Stop by to purchase a cup of coffee and banh mi for your road trip. It sells a lot of food, beverage and dessert. The cashier are nice and willing to help. It also has plenty of seat if you decide to eat there. The order come out quick after you ordered. The people here know what they are doing on their job.

This used to be the only Lees location I would go to, even though it was a bit out of the way. However, it seems like they have changed ownership in the last month or two and I noticed a difference in the quality of the sandwiches. I typically order the number 6 and sometimes it was different, sometimes it was actually better. But this time, I received a very gristly and fatty piece of meat that was difficult to chew and unappetizing. I hope the new owners can improve and continue to provide quality food in this great location. Also, please make sure to fill the iced coffee to the top. After giving the new owners about 10 chances, I don't think I can come back here anymore. It feels like a bad breakup.

Having only one piece of cheese on a 6-inch sandwich is taking cheapness to an unacceptable extreme.

I really enjoy how the hot sandwiches at this restaurant are always fresh and made to order. Recently, I tried a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it was delicious. We also like to order their bahn mi sandwiches, which are always great. The chicken wings and pork egg rolls were also delicious. Additionally, the small premade fried rice trays at the register are very tasty.

I enjoyed the spicy chicken. It is different from the buffalo advantage you found most grocery store. I really like it.
