La Catalana - San Jose

This place was so sweet. we did not have to make reservations in this night, it was not too busy. the reviews mention that they are busy. it is a small location with low lighting makes it quite great for a date night. our waiter was super friendly and helpful. we have a few small tellers, can't go wrong with the mushrooms and paella. there was also live music. very beautiful place.

Small mom/pop restaurant with live music on Saturday. the place is in a smaller scale, but elegantly decorated. the hostess was really sweet, elegantly dressed and she quickly picked us up. it was full, all the time we were there. had the gambles and mushrooms for tapas and the black rice to dinner. the waiter was attentive and has often checked us and delivered an excellent service. the rice was delicious. in any case would come back.

Delicious food and fantastic wine selection! the personal was amazing and so helpful in our selections. loved sitting outside on their cute back terrace. we really enjoyed our experience and will definitely return. go there – they will be pleasantly surprised!

Highly recommended to celebrate a special occasion, such as birthdays, graduation celebrations, sure they take care of them. they have a lovely atmosphere, great service and delicious food. we had some tapas with chorizo al tinto. paella arroze mar was our main course and cream brulee for dessert. the red sangria was delicious and refreshing. I'll be back to la catalana.
