Five Star Pizza - San Jose

Owners were very nice when opened and pizza was descent. Later the pizzas had no flavor, bland and not better then frozen from a store.My last visit I had ordered with a coupon special.that the female owner said they would honor even without coupon in hand the guy at cashier said no will not honor special. Just plain rude is what I didn't like. Now their competition opened across street so decided to not visit this place anymore. Even when they keep texting me coupons!

The pizza was very good. The service was alright, but the restaurant itself is kind of sketchy. I wish they could clean up their restaurant a lot better because the place looks and smells bad.

During lunch time I have had to wait a while before anyone would serve me. Credit card was handed back to me covered in grease, making me question hand washing practices. Ordering for dinner is a better experience, but not sure I want to go backFood: 4/5

I must start with stating how filthy dirty their restroom is. It probably has not been cleaned in weeks or longer. The sink is nasty. How do you pass an inspection? I cannot imagine what the kitchen looks like. You need to start with some major cleaning. I am only doing you a favor by saying all this.The only reason I came here is because of my hiking group, but not again.

This place is underrated. For just $8, you get a personal pizza that's better than Little Caesars or Domino's. While it may not be amazing, it’s definitely solid. The dough and sauce are quite good.
