Bijan Bakery Cafe' - San Jose

Have long gone to their Saratoga bakery and this time things changed a little and ordered a cake (and bought a few slices on the day of pickup) from Bijan bakery in San Jose. Parking is safe to treat a pain when it comes in. Please note that in mind (although I was lucky that both times I went there, I found an empty parking lot on the street quite near the store. Was always a big fan of her Burnt almond cake and this visit was definitely one of them for a birthday party later in the evening. The people in the bakery were quite inviting and also helped to answer all my questions about the options for various slices of cakes I saw, eggless options etc. etc. After I ordered the cake together with the other slices I had ordered, it got a bit overwhelming to get it all to the car. People in there have lent me a helping hand by carrying one of the cakes behind the counter staff while I was carrying the rest to the car. Friendly people, wonderful ambience there and a number of choices with each being one of its kind definitely gives you reasons to be more than one to be there and enjoy their offers. Came to a busy day on Friday afternoon. Fast and delightful staff, the food was ready within five minutes. The first impression made me want to eat everything. The bakery has many pastries for choice as well as sandwiches. Order of turkey panini (comes with its original bread and it was delicious and fill. The chocolate (chip? Crossaint is a fantastic dessert choice.

Amazing European bakery in a great area in San Jose. Great ambience and fast service. Great variety of deserts and extremely beautiful looking cakes. The Black Forest cake and Eclair are both really delicious and a must try.

I live in Canada, but my family is in California. Today is the 91. My grandmother's birthday and I'm happy to order a cake to her 91. birthday delivered. My father sent me a picture of the black forest cake that is beautiful and my family said it was delicious. I recommend Bijan Bakery Cafe. Not only did they deliver a wonderful cake, they also had candles. Thank you for making this day very special for my grandmother. She said she was expecting a bigger cake next year!

2pm to 5pm is Happy hours so you can enjoy the muffin and croissant in half price. The coffee cookie and the pistachio mouse cake is fantastic.
