3rd Bourbon - San Jose

Nice small venue with excellent artistic drinks! Bartender and server were great. Nice portions on the food.

Pretty good happy hour, can’t half off beers! Didn’t try the food. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. A great place to go before dinner or before heading to the sap center for an event.

Kinda eh. I'd probably look for another place. I'm trying to figure out why I feel that way. Servers were nice. Atmosphere was good. Small venue with a good vibe. The location was so-so. Ok for a few folks but not a huge party.

Wedensday evening, looks like a group of 10- 12 people inside, otherwise empty. Sat outside because we had a dog. It took 30 minutes to get any service whatsoever and another 30 to for any food or beer to come out. We reminded them once or twice politely and tipped 20%. But bacon Sliders were dry. They charge 40 for the steak frites which sounded good but no telling how long that would have taken. They had a bartender and a waiter cooks in the back who couldn't handle both tables. Definitely avoid 3rd and bourbon for dinner.

Super fun experience! House cocktails are experimentally crafted but super delicious! Had the pineapple and basil margarita and the mezcal and cachaça cocktail both of which were perfectly balanced renditions on classic spirits. Food was casual yet super tasty.
