Tea Maru Housemade Boba - San Gabriel

Ordered a Mango Jasmine fruit tea with mixed boba and omg it was so good. Very floral jasmine, very good mango flavor. The sweet potato boba is noticeably sweet potato flavor. Perfect, no notes.Food: 5/5

Love this place. Been here since they first opened. The quality is consistent. My favorite drink is their signature maru milk with the cheese foam.Vegetarian options: Oatmill, almond milk substitute

This is a great place to get bubble tea. You honestly can't go wrong with anything you order here. Their specialty drinks, such as the kiwi citrus breeze, are perfectly refreshing and a major highlight. I love their mango boba.

A co-worker ordered 8 drinks from Tea Maru San Gabriel and took them to work, and NONE of them were labeled with what drink it was and FIVE of them were a milky brown. It became a guessing game at that point and some people did not end up with the drink they had ordered. I had ordered an oolong milk tea with boba ended up with a really milky drink with no tea in it...so disappointing. Label your drinks especially if they all look the same...

I have always liked this bubble tea shop. I like their combinations of drinks and slushes. I been coming here for a while now ever since a friend showed me this place 2/20/2019 . I never really had an issue with the staff or place even tho waiting times were sometimes very long but something made me come back everytime till now, a couple months ago. 11/18/2022 I had came with my Gf after a long trip They made me very disgusted and very disappointed. I would never expect 2 pieces of hair inside my drink. At first I just thought it was outside stuck on the cup. Then with further inspection, I noticed it was swirling inside with the drink. We definitely went right back to the store and to complain. They didnt know what to do and after standing there for 15 mins, they finally decided to refund the drink as a $10 gift card. Till this day, 4/23/2023 i have never gone back there. I even erased that email that took 3 weeks to show up for the refund . Guess thats the last time ill ever be visiting...
