El Porteño Empanadas - San Francisco

I'm not quite sure what's going on with the staff at this restaurant, but every time we place a pre-order, one particular worker has a rude attitude and seems to forget that we placed the order at all. She seems dismissive and has consistently failed to provide us with chimichurri. It feels like she treats delivery drivers poorly, but we're not delivery people; we simply prefer to pre-order since this place often gets busy. Unfortunately, this has happened more than once, and it's quite disappointing. We're now unsure if we'll return, given our unpleasant experiences with this staff member.

This is one of the few places I've visited in the ferry building. The empanadas are good, but they would be even better if they were stuffed more generously with meat and sauce. The portion sizes are decent, but they cost around $7 each.

There was nothing special about the service or atmosphere... but it was to go. We tried a few different things.. some were better than others but overall it was good. My favorite was the banana and dulce de Leche. ?

The Ham and Cheese Empanada was amazing. I still want to try the lamb one. The beef one has a major downside, raisins ?. I was with 5 other people and all of them had the same complaint. Maybe we are just picky.

I didn’t love the carne beef (has olives) but I liked the cheese/onion one which starts with F. They didn’t have the corn one I wanted to try. But they were very hot and flavorful.
