The Chieftain Irish Pub - San Francisc

Nice little Irish pub with beers that we didn’t see outside of Ireland. My mom was really happy to be able to have them and see some dishes she had during her time in Ireland on the menu as well. We were welcomed and helped the best way possible. The food was amazing I am still sad about my half pounder and the fact I couldn’t finish it Definitely a place to check out !!

Overpriced and mediocre. Beer was $9 and mostly head; Shepard's Pie was $22 and was 80% potatoes and the filling had little flavor. Don't plan on going back.

Chieftain’s is the best Irish Pub in San Francisco and the best bar in Soma. We have so much fun every time we’re here and every employee is amazing. Richard, Lorrie, Danny, Dianne, Mark, and the rest of the staff are amazing. Highly recommend the Shepherds Pie!!

Mark and team were absolutely EXCELLENT hosts for our team party. Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful service.

Love a good Irish breakfast, and the Lamb burger is great too!
