Bidra med feedbackGreat cookies and pastries. Always nice when I can support a non profit social enterprise providing job training and employment for folks with disabilities. Plus Jamilla is a big fan
Vast selection of pastries. Good coffee. Skip the sandwiches. 16$ per head
This is a better bakery than similar ones in the area. But overall not particularly impressive. We tried one savory baked dish and one sandwich, both were a bit dry and not amazing. The drip coffee was the really disappointing part. Overall, I like that they have sweet and savory baked good options as well as salads and sandwiches- definitely a good number of variety.
Wow, a Mexican chocolate cookie? It's incredibly moist and delicious! Their jalapeño biscuit sandwich was also soft and flavorful. They use cornmeal in it, and it's not spicy at all. I had it warmed up, and the egg inside was still soft and warm. Plus, it's really affordable compared to most places in San Francisco, and I appreciate that they don’t charge extra for milk substitutions.
This restaurant is fantastic! They prioritize quality ingredients, creating some of the most mouthwatering dishes you'll ever have. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, with a strong emphasis on customer service. What’s truly commendable is their commitment to social responsibility; they employ individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as those who are homeless or at risk, teaching them valuable skills for securing and maintaining good jobs. I can't praise this place enough. Mark, the manager, is incredibly caring, and Martha, the baker, stands out with her exceptional and innovative treats. I also want to highlight Roxeanna, who seamlessly handles various roles in the bakery and consistently remains polite and efficient. Make sure to stop by this hidden gem in San Francisco—you won't regret it!
