I ordered the steak and egg special, expecting it to be good since the place was busy. However, my first bite tasted stale and unappetizing. I had just come from the hospital after surgery, so I thought my taste buds might be off. To confirm, I tried a bite from my wife, who immediately spit it out. I didn't want to complain, but it was so bad that I felt I had to say something. The waitress acted like it was no big deal and offered me something else, but when I asked for eggs and hash browns instead, I was still charged $11. Honestly, I would have preferred something better for that price. This was my first visit, and it was the worst meal I've ever had; it's still bothering me to this day.

My favorite memory is the coffee, and my steak was cooked to perfection! If you’re looking for a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere with tasty food and excellent service, this is the place to be!

I absolutely love James Restaurant; it's our go-to spot for breakfast. It's a genuinely family-owned establishment with delicious food. However, don't think I'm just looking for breakfast on my own. San Fernando.

I decided to try this restaurant on Mother's Day, and I’m very happy with my choice. The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. I will definitely be returning!

The waitress was friendly, but she seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We waited about 20 minutes for our meal, and the rice was extremely hard while the beans were burnt. The overall atmosphere from the kitchen felt more like an assembly line, lacking any care or pride in what they were preparing, which reflects poorly on the restaurant as a whole. My wife and I were excited to try this place for the first time, but next time, we’ll just drive a few more minutes to Abuelo's.
