Yes, I fell in luv already my 1st time eating there ????? Restaurant was nice, clean, very ??? hospitality, luv waitress patience suggestions quiet in my own little section. It took awhile to figure out ? I wanted there was big variety of food to choose from, this is what stomach waitress input this is what suggested. Luv it????

Clean, beautiful, friendly, ...and delicious food. James' Restaurant is a step back in time, but not as a kitschy homage to diners rather as a diner still doing things right, nearly 70 years later. The menu is large, and varied. The food is cooked and presented with obvious care, and the service is cheerful. You get to pay at the counter, with a real, fully functional cash register if you use cash (do it! . Parking is free, with more around the back.

I ordered the steak and egg special, expecting it to be good since the place was busy. However, my first bite tasted stale and unappetizing. I had just come from the hospital after surgery, so I thought my taste buds might be off. To confirm, I tried a bite from my wife, who immediately spit it out. I didn't want to complain, but it was so bad that I felt I had to say something. The waitress acted like it was no big deal and offered me something else, but when I asked for eggs and hash browns instead, I was still charged $11. Honestly, I would have preferred something better for that price. This was my first visit, and it was the worst meal I've ever had; it's still bothering me to this day.
