Bidra med feedbackConsistently satisfying dining experience. The meat is beautifully seasoned and pairs well with other ingredients. When you order al pastor, you can watch the meat being carved from the vertical broiler right in the open kitchen. The tortillas are made in-house, and you can see the process live during certain times. The service is impressively fast, even during busy hours. If you choose to add cheese to your taco or burrito, make sure to have it melted and grilled on the tortilla—it really elevates the entire experience! This is something that only a handful of places seem to offer.
The homemade corn tortillas here are fresh, large, thick, warm, and incredibly tasty—they soak up all the delicious juices. The seafood tacos are fantastic! I tried the Baja, grilled fish, and grilled shrimp. The Baja and grilled shrimp stood out as absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to come back for more. The grilled shrimp were well-seasoned, but I was a bit let down by the lack of heat. The seafood is definitely fresh, and the shrimp have a nice bite to them. I found the Al Pastor taco to be just okay, especially when compared to the seafood options. Now, let’s talk about the fries—they're AMAZING! So crispy and fresh—definitely a must-try. The California Burrito is massive, stuffed, and delicious; I finally understand the hype. The flour tortilla is excellent, warm, chewy, and filled with grilled cheese. The fries inside the burrito elevate it to another level. The churros are out of this world—fresh, warm, and chewy. I would order them again in a heartbeat, though they’re a bit on the pricey side. Be sure to get three churros per order. They also have a well-organized sauce bar with a variety of delicious and fresh options. I found the chipotle sauce was supposed to be hot but didn’t have any heat at all, and I usually can only handle mild spice! However, the green salsa was a bit too watery for my taste. On the other hand, the cilantro sauce (medium heat) was fantastic. The Pico de Gallo and lime slices were incredibly fresh as well. The gender-neutral bathroom was a nice touch. The staff is very friendly and accommodating!
While visiting the San Diego area, we were recommended to try this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious! However, parking was quite challenging since it's located in a residential neighborhood. We sampled the shrimp tacos and the California burrito, both of which were fantastic. There’s also a great selection of sauces to choose from. If you enjoy Mexican cuisine, this is definitely a place worth checking out!
My husband and I just wanted a little lunch. We ever had a chicken tacco. Wow! You were so delicious! Had the perfect amount of (not too spicy) salsa and guacamole. Friendly, efficient staff. Everything was clean and tidy. We sat in the warm sun on the cozy, small, outdoor terrace. Very recommended.
Best tacos I?ve ever had. Small shop, with a long worth the wait line. Indoor seating is limited. While waiting, you can watch the staff make the Tortilla batter. So many items to choose from. Tacos, burritos and deserts. Everything home made. The condiment station is monitored frequently for replenishment and cleaning. Staff was patient and hardworking. They sit the bar high.
