Quick Wok - San Diego

I ordered from the lunch menu and my dish came with rice and a choice of soup or salad. The food was reasonably priced at around $8 per dish. The portion size depends on how much you eat - perfect for one person if you have a full meal. If you are a thinner person (someone who eats less than 650 calories), it could feed two people since they give a lot of rice. I picked up my order since dine-in was closed, and it only took 5-10 minutes to get from my office to the location, so the food was still hot. I would give it a 3 out of 5 because my expectations were met. The food was decent but nothing extraordinary - everything was average. Not great, but not bad either. It was good.

First, for the one bad review. English is probably their second language and the restaurant is loud so definitely hard to understand over the phone. Having said that, I've called in orders dozens of times and they've never gotten my order wrong. The food is the bomb (way better then pick up stix or that Panda Express ****! . I've tried nearly everything on the menu and it is all amazing. Try the walnut shrimp if you haven't yet!!!

Great Fast Food. What this place is not: Some special regional authentic Chinese cuisine. <br/ <br/ What this place is: Traditional Asian-American fast food. To make it better, they do a great job of it.<br/ <br/ The place is clean, friendly, fast, and delicious. They also had keen attention to detail as they supplied all utensils, sauces, dips, etc, needed to eat everything. This was done without even asking if you were taking it home.<br/ <br/ Great little neighborhood eatery!

The house chicken, fried rice, chow main, and eggs rolls were all very good and generous portions at a very reasonable price. Great takeout place.

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years because they consistently serve some of the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. The Orange Peel chicken, House Special Beef, and House Special Chicken are all top-notch dishes. The Hot and Sour Soup is always bursting with delicious flavor. The lunch combo is unbeatable in terms of value. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their amazing food!
