Bidra med feedbackOrange chicken is good, ramen is meh. Three stars due to crazy high prices $17 for a dish an average size dish that is $8-10 other places) and the fact that EVERYTHING is single use even if eating on site. So much waste.
Mein St. is one of Little Italy's little hidden food gems hiding away in that food hall. Everything there is pretty good, but the service and consistency of the menu keeps me coming back. Charles (the head cook) is super polite and really puts care intohis meals. I've eaten a fair portion of the ramen, rice dishes, and highly recommend their salt and pepper wings if you enjoy alittle fried chicken every now and then. It's an experience there. My favorite of the ramens is the Mein St (in terms ofnumber of times I've ordered it), but the Seafood ramen is honestly DELICIOUS and I plan to order it more often in the future. All of the rice dishes are pretty great, and you can get everything a little spicier if that's what you enjoy. Again, try thesalt and pepper wings, people.
My husband (who is not vegan) loves their ramen, so I decided to try their vegan alternatives. Since I switched to being vegan, I was never able to eat orange chicken again (which I used to love) so I decided to give it a try (the chicken was replaced bytofu). I was pleasantly surprised as this dish was even better than I remembered. The tofu was really well prepared, and thedish arrived very quickly (and it was very warm). It makes me happy when restaurants make an effort to come up with alternativesfor their vegan clients. I will definitely be coming back for more!
I?m pretty happy with my Tofu Chow Mein. I?m a real Chinese, and I don?t expect to eat authentic Chinese food in Little Italy Food Hall, as long as it tastes good, I?ll consider it a good food. And this Chow Mein did it pretty good. They put a lot oftofu in the dish which is very nice. The noodles are udon noodles. The sauce is quite a lot, but it?s nice for me, as I have aheave taste. Anyways, if you search for a good American style Chinese food, here is not a bad choice.
My man (who is not vegan) loves her rams, so I decided to try her vegan alternatives. since I changed to be vegan, I could never eat orange bun again (what I loved), so I decided to give it a try (the bun was replaced by tofu). I was pleasantly surprised when this court was even better than I remembered. the tofu was really well prepared, and the court came very fast (and it was very warm). it makes me happy when restaurants try to come with alternatives for their vegan customers. I will definitely come back for more!
