Today, while waiting in line to order, we observed Fred handling money, opening the microwave, and grabbing chicken with his bare hands all at once. This is a serious health risk. If you want to avoid food poisoning or worse, steer clear of this establishment at all costs!

While working at WeWork San Diego, I was in search of an affordable local deli and found Fred's through a search. The lunch combo, which included a hot sandwich, chips, and a drink, was priced at around $12. Fred himself was present at the deli and it was clear that he had established a good reputation with the locals, which I found to be very charming. The deli has a bodega-like feel, simple yet beloved by everyone, including myself. I thoroughly enjoyed my hot tuna sandwich, which was a delicious and satisfying meal after a long day of morning meetings. I definitely plan on returning to try other items on the menu in the future.
