Cocina 35 Downtown - San Diego

I was staying in the hotel directly next-door and decided to dine here for breakfast for a birthday celebration. I added my name to the waitlist, which I recommend doing because the few days I was staying at the hotel, I noticed they were busy... now I know why! The food is amazing, the service is fabulous, and entire atmosphere is a vibe! if I’m ever in the area again, I definitely will dine here again!!

The food is amazing and the value is beyond expectations. This was my first time and I am in town for 4 days and I will be eating here everyday I’m here. The agua frescas are amazing. The service is great. It is worth the wait.

I would of gave 5 star if it wasn't for one of the cashier's that had so much attitude like if she hated being there and was so rude thankfully other people working there made it so much better and we're very attentive and friendly the food was amazing the taste the presentation was awesome.

I got the El Patron plate and everything in it was delicious. Definitely some tasty food here! I was also happy that they had Cafe de Olla. The staff is super nice.

Good chilaquiles and agua de jamaica. We arrived at 8:30 on a Sunday morning and did not have to wait to be seated. The hostess was not very friendly and neither was the cashier but the food and music were good. I expected better taste for the salsa. Would probably bring friends from out of town here. I really enjoyed that they have plates that show what you are ordering
